The V2.0 Retractable Detectable Permanent Marker is the full-featured marking solution for food and pharmaceutical production floors where contamination control is non-negotiable.
The body is built from XDetect 2.0, BST's proprietary compound that combines ferromagnetic additives for metal detection, high-density additives for x-ray visibility, and Steritouch® silver-ion technology for lifetime antimicrobial protection. One material, three layers of food safety.
The retractable mechanism is spring-free by design. BRC Issue 9 (BRCGS Clause 4.9.6.2) prohibits pens with small external parts in open product areas, springs are the primary concern. The V2.0's push-button retract has no spring to lose, no cap to misplace, and no small parts to contaminate your product.
Two tip options cover every task on the floor. The 2.0mm bullet tip handles box labeling, date coding, and production markings that need to hold. The 1.0mm fine tip is precise enough for HACCP forms, batch records, and documentation where clarity matters. Both are available in black, blue, red, and green.
