Moldex SparkPlugs are so comfortable that operators forget they are wearing them. They are made of an extra-soft, extra-light foam molded into a tapered shape that fits snugly within the ear. The NRR 33dB rating is the highest independently tested rating, and the plugs meet ANSI S3.19-1974.
Detectability is doubled up: both the metal ball bearing enclosed within the earplug and the cord itself are detectable by foreign contaminant prevention systems. The ball bearing and the cord are fastened separately, so the earplugs remain detectable even if they become detached from the cord. Bright blue coloring adds simple visual detectability.
