The BST Detectable Mallet features a hardened UHMW detectable head for food manufacturing facilities focused on reducing foreign body contamination. The head is FDA approved for direct food contact, highly impact resistant, and offers strong wear resistance.
A ferromagnetic additive in the head allows it to be picked up by in-line metal detection systems, so a chipped or damaged striking face does not become an undetected contaminant. Available in 40mm x 300mm and 50mm x 300mm sizes.
