3M E-A-R Push-In Metal Detectable Earplugs are specifically designed for use in food manufacturing facilities. The foam piece is shaped to insert easily into the ear canal, with no rolling, ear lifting, or fuss: simply grab the plastic handle and push in or pull out. That handle also makes the plugs much easier to grip in wet and oily environments, the same conditions our Metal Detectable Nitrile Gloves are built for.
Inside the plastic handle is a stainless steel ball bearing that allows the plugs to be detected by your foreign body contaminant prevention systems, and the cord lets them hang around the neck when not in use. Every aspect is designed to ensure these earplugs end their life in the trash and not in the food. Noise Reduction Rating: NRR 31dB.
